Congratulations Jessica Ayers & Crystal Tam

Please join us in congratulating Simpson Lab student researchers, Jessica Ayers and Crystal Tam!

Jessica, a M3D PhD Program graduate student in the Simpson Lab, won a prize for her research poster at the Institute for Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine (ISCRM) Cascadia Regenerative Medicine Symposium, in Vancouver, BC in January 2024.

Crystal Tam, medical student from the UW School of Medicine in Spokane, won a $500 top abstract prize from the Western Society for Pediatric Research in January 2024 for her project on modeling Hailey-Hailey disease, a genetic skin blistering disorder. Crystal joined the Simpson Lab last summer for her UW Independent Investigative Inquiry (III) project.
