Karina Schmidt Awarded ISCRM Fellowship

Karina Schmidt, a graduate student in the Molecular Medicine and Mechanisms of Disease (M3D) PhD Program, was awarded a second-year fellowship from the UW Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine (ISCRM) to advance her research on the rare skin blistering disease, epidermolysis bullosa simplex. This Washington State-funded fellowship provides critical support for graduate student stipends, benefits, and tuition. Congratulations!
